J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore content for chapter one

As we said earlier, we are currently in the process of re-transcribing and uploading the content on Pottermore after finding out we missed a lot of it. And this time, we’re going in order! This also means that we will be adding to our “Pot of More” page on the site.

Today we completed uploading J.K. Rowling’s Exclusive Content from chapter one of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The following are links and descriptions of the content.

Number Four, Privet Drive

J.K. Rowling describes the origin of Privet Drive and Little Whinging, and a recollection of her visit to the Dursley’s street at Leavesden Studios.

In this entry, readers learn a little history about the measurement system in the wizarding world along with a humorous story from J.K. Rowling.
