The Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter opens in London

The WB Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter opened in London to enormous crowds two weeks ago.

The grand opening of the studio tour occurred on March 30 with fans, cast and crew all present. The studio tour is separated into two main buildings, building J and K for the bestselling author and creator of the series, J.K. Rowling. It highlights major sets, props and costumes that were used in the films including the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, the Knight Bus, Dumbledore’s Office, a Hogwarts model, the Ministry of Magic, Hagrid’s Hut, Gryffindor Common Room and Boys’ Dormitory and Privet Drive. Props include the Sword of Godric Gryffindor, Buckbeak, and Hagrid’s motorbike. The tour also has some interactive activities which include a green room where you can sit on a broomstick and soar upon the Thames River, in the streets of London, on the Quidditch Pitch and more. Warner Bros. has said that they plan to add some more experiences and maybe rides during a near-future expansion.

So far, the Studio Tour has been a hit among fans and critics alike, and has been said by many as a “must-see for a Potterhead”. Will you be travelling to London to see it? We will get there, someday, someday…
