Pottermore finally talks about Sony’s Wonderbook with Book of Spells

We have waited two weeks for Pottermore to speak about Sony’s Wonderbook: Book of Spells. Today, they have broke their silence, but close to none of what they said was new.

Something to note is that you will have the option to link your Pottermore account when you first play Book of Spells. They didn’t say how Pottermore would be integrated into Wonderbook, but it is suspected that it will come to life on the screen, almost like it is projected (but not in 3D).

From the post, “Sony announce Wonderbook™ launch for PlayStation®3 with Wonderbook: Book of Spells

In the world of Harry Potter, Miranda Goshawk’s Book of Spells is 200 years old, and traditionally is kept in the Restricted Section of Hogwarts library. Soon you will be able to experience this enchanted book too, as Sony have announced that Wonderbook on the PlayStation®3 will be launching with the Book of Spells.

Featuring exclusive new and original writing from J.K. Rowling, Book of Spells brings spells to life allowing you to explore the book, read about the history of spells, and cast charms with the PlayStation®Move Motion Controller, which becomes your own magic wand.

Wonderbook: Book of Spells promises to be an exciting experience and we will let you know more about its development here on the Pottermore Insider.

Hopefully Pottermore will stick to their word this time and will continue to inform us on the Book of Spells.
