J K Rowling talks to James Runcie about #TheCasualVacancy, her first novel for adults. 26th September. 10pm. BBC2.
— Culture Show (@bbcCultureShow) September 5, 2012
The special will focus on Rowling and her new book, The Casual Vacancy, which is released the following day, September 27. During the special, Rowling will talk with James Runcie, the same filmmaker who produced the 2007 film, J.K. Rowling: A Year in the Life, which chronicled Rowling’s life during the writing and publication of the last Harry Potter book. Rowling will also be discussing The Casual Vacancy with Runcie at the Cheltenham Literature Festival in October.
We have been predicting this for a few weeks now, as Runcie and his reps have been dropping some hints, leaving us to speculate.
Thanks to our friends at In Honor of Rowling for the tip!
