Pottermore releases the final installment of Chamber of Secrets

As scheduled, Pottermore today released the final installment of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This final batch of chapters takes us through the end of the book from chapter twelve.

Pottermore has not yet acknowledged the launched on the Insider, but they did send out emails to everyone. Here’s an excerpt:

• Discover the Slytherin common room
• Experience Professor Lockhart’s Valentine’s Day festivities
• Fend off the spiders in the Forbidden Forest
• Reveal the secret of Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom
• Confront what’s hidden within the Chamber of Secrets

In the last seven chapters you will also find that there is new content from J.K. Rowling regarding the Polyjuice Potion, the history of the Chamber of Secrets, Ghosts, and the Sword of Gryffindor – all to be unlocked.

We also expect Pottermore to add new spells and potions in addition to the release, but we’ll have to wait for an Insider post to see if they decide to do so.

UPDATE: Pottermore has updated the Insider on the release, basically repeating what they said in the email.

They also shared this update on their “Platform Updates” page:
