Pottermore to release ‘Prisoner of Azkaban’ this Thursday

Book 3, Chapter 6, Moment 3Over the past few weeks, Pottermore has been teasing a major announcement. Today they made that big announcement.

In an Insider post, Pottermore broke the news that the first chapters of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban would be released this Thursday, December 20.

This means that if you have completed both books on Pottermore, you can explore the third book Thursday. However, Pottermore explained that in order to do progress to the third book, users must collect all the items on the second-year shopping list.

In addition to this announcement, Pottermore shared a Moment from the book that users’ voted for last week, which you can check out above.

In this Moment, Harry, Hermione, Ron and their classmates attend Hagrid’s first Care of Magical Creatures class and encounter the impressive Hippogriffs in their paddock.

Once the new chapters go live on Thursday, we’ll be journeying through them and giving our review.

      The second year shopping list can be collected after you have completed the letter game in Chapter 4, Moment 1. Then, go to Diagon Alley to collect the items on the list.

  1. I had collected ALL items on the lists long time ago before the 3rd book is realised.. I bought all items TWICE but still can’t enter the 3rd book
