The colorful new cover for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, shown above, depicts the first task of the Triwizard Tournament when Harry flies in on his Firebolt to capture the golden egg from the Hungarian Horntail dragon. It was unveiled by the US editor of Harry Potter, Arthur Levine, at the annual American Library Association convention in Chicago, IL.

On the other hand, the revamped cover for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix shows Harry and some other members of Dumbledore’s Army flying from Hogwarts to London on Thestrals. Check it out below.

Updated: After realizing the error on their part, Scholastic officially released the new cover, and a larger image is seen above (click for high-res).

These covers are part of the re-release of the Harry Potter books by Scholastic to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the US publication of the books. Earlier this week, the cover art for Prisoner of Azkaban was released, and the covers for Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets have also been released in February and May, respectively. The covers for Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows will be released this summer, as well as the artwork for the complete box set. The whole collection will be released on August 27, 2013.
