Bloomsbury adult edition cover for ‘Deathly Hallows’ unveiled

Today Bloomsbury unveiled the cover for the new adult edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last in the Harry Potter series.

Deathly Hallows

The new cover features a hand-drawn sketch of Lord Voldemort’s loyal snake, Nagini, slithering its way through Hogwarts during the final battle. The cover is colored green with the title in orange and white, and was done by artist Andrew Davidson, who is doing all of the new adult edition covers for Bloomsbury.

Bloomsbury has been re-releasing the adult editions of the Harry Potter novels with all new covers, aiming at a new generation of adult readers. The re-release of the seven books with these new covers has been scattered; the first three books were available on July 18, Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix were released on August 15, and the final two books will be hitting bookstores September 26.
