Battle of the Beaters: Japan and Nigeria face each other in Quidditch World Cup

In a game some are calling “The Battle of the Beaters”, Japan and Nigeria faced each other in the final quarter-final match of the Quidditch World Cup.

J.K. Rowling, as Ginny Potter, writes for the Daily Prophet that both “outstanding Quidditch nations” put their “master class” talents with the Bludger on display during the game. The Beaters on both sides monopolized the game right till the last second, when one team’s beater made a hit that ultimately led to the Snitch’s capture and the end of the game.

The winner of the Japan and Nigeria match will face Bulgaria in the next round of the tournament.
